    All I can say is that the five hard used ones I have found and renewed have more than repaid the cleaning and renewing. Those edges may last longer than my face.

    I believe that if you are thinking of buying a Japanese western style straight razor forget about Swedish steel or German steel seek out Japanese razors made from Japanese steel, sort of defeats the object to me like buying an old Wade & Butcher made from Japanese steel or a Filarmonica made from Sheffield steel I just don't see the point myself.
