    Default A little help

Picked it up off the bay. It's my first straight bought off the bay not to mention my first production razor. The box reads The Solwaye,, Best silver steel. Made in Germany.. Inside of the box reads, Grants American Dressing Parlour, Galway. Massage By Electricity.. Razor by best Makers Stocked. It looks to be around a 7/8 maybe bone. It's nice and tight with the pins and closes dead center. I fell for the petina in this one so I'll just give it a little clean up and hone her up. Any help with more info would be nice. What is written or stamped on the blade and tang is needed to correctly identify your razor. The case may or may not be original to the razor and the information seems to be advertising the retailer more than the razor. Is there more information stamped on the razor itself? The scales appear to be celluloid made to imitate ivory.

You can not make out what it says on the tang. The blade it's self reads "The Solwaye" Registerd
