Just remember that after the icing there are still ornaments and candles....
Bread and water can so easily become tea and toast

Thanked: 1184I always bid in the last seconds. I have found if I want it that's what I have to do. What cracks me up is 2 guys in a 50 cent bid war for 5 days over something I know is going to sell for double in the last minute. All they are doing is raising the price. I haven't bought anything for awhile but if I want something I can usually get it. Why? Because I bid tooooo high for wants.
Good judgment comes from experience, and experience....well that comes from poor judgment.

Oh, and by the way, if there is something that I really want I put in a ridiculous max bid and sit back and watch the flurry of screen jitters as it runs thru all the last second bidders with an ending green banner of victory.

Thanks! I've been thinking that's the way to go, but I'll do that in the last minute...
Speaking of which, there's a nice, pristine DD Grim Reaper on E-Bay right now for around $400...couldn't believe it...still has several days left to go. Then I re-read the description and the scales have been replaced and the "e" in lifetime is not there.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but once the scales have been replaced, doesn't it lose it value?
And 10Pups, be warned, at the next possible chance, I'm going to use that smiley...awesome!!
