soak it for a week in Neatsfoot oil then give them a light sand with 2000 grit youd be supprised how much they will come back
great score by the way
looks like a 8/8" ???Saved,
to shave another day.

Thanked: 1195Wade & Butcher is a commonly discussed straight razor and known as a top brand. As indicated, that blade is over 120 years old and despite the hone wear looks to be in great condition. Without getting into valuation (which we do not discuss here) I'll say for what you paid you did very well.
I would recommend sending her out to be honed by someone experienced and enjoy in good health

Yeah, neatsfoot oil works well to bring those scales back to life. Even a little mink oil on a rag will help. Just buff it out a little with a clean rag or paper towel. Sweet blade! Keep it original.
