Stefan (mainaman) could probably tell you something about them. IIRC he has considerable experience with them. Maybe Zeth Lent too, he lives in Japan.

I don't know a thing at all about the Japanese makers, but I would love to have this resource available. I suspect others would too.
It was in original condition, faded red, well-worn, but nice.
This was and still is my favorite combination; beautiful, original, and worn.

Sorry, I am not versed on the manufacturers of the traditional Kamisori.
I have only handled a few. Tosuke (see classifieds), Iwasaki, and Machida.
