Got too many razors now. For $200 bucks I'd get a lifetime supply of MWF.

I would purchase the nicest Japanese western style razor I could find.

I'd have to agree that patience is your best friend once you start to think about dropping $$ on a shaver again. Can't tell you how many times I've decided I need to spend some cash on another blade (and did so) only to see the one I REALLY wanted a few weeks later.
But.... since you asked - there was this quarter hollow TI that we were all trying to get at here a few years back. Wish I could remember it's name. Aside from that, any wedge or thick grind 6/8 or fatter is always a sparkling fishing lure for me.

A NOS Japanese Iwasaki Tamahagane western style folding straight razor If you could find one for sale, but you would need considerably more than $1000 to buy one.

Well I came in under budget and picked up that 6/8 Revisor Gold I was eyeballing! I'm pretty excited :-) This thing is gorgeous! I knew I'd regret it if I didn't grab it, so I bought it and now have some money left over for some sandalwood cream and a new mug! Also, through this process I've got my brother-in-law hooked and he just bought his first razor! A beautiful Gotta 120.
