I don't have it yet. On the way. It was listed incorrectly as a Deutsch, but I knew they were mistaken. It is a "Special" and I don't have one of those. Absolutely love C-Mon razors. Almost religious shave when I use them because I drop to my knees and cry. I suspected someone in the past had added new scales, but I don't care.
By the way, some really nice looking metal you guys shared pics of...
I'll post images after I clean it up.
I never read. Is it a PJM or an Ellicottevile on the reverse tang? I just saw the Hans box in the OP. I would bet someone installed a different blade in some Otto Deutch scales as some earlier ones were scaled like that instead of the horrid green cell-rot scales.

    I rest my case.

    Thanks guys!
It's in the mail. Was listed incorrectly as an Otto. No worries. I noticed it WAS a Special gssixgun and I'm excited for that. Love C-Mons's! And Neil, it does have Michel on the other side of the tang. I'll post pics after I clean it up.
By the way, really nice metal you guys posted for reference.

Reposted 'cause my iPad didn't update properly. Damn tech. Why wasn't I born earlier to make things simpler? Ha!

Isn't it a shame that such a beautiful razor as the green Otto Deutsch so often gets the cell rot ........ that is why I've never gone to the high $ to get one. I know they don't all go that way but too many for comfort.

Good! You should be able to find some scales. Perhaps (if you are lucky!) some with a Otto Deutsch blade in them! Nice razor, even as-is!

    Ha! You're right...good as is.
I actually have an Otto. It's in a cryogenic vault, vacuum sealed with 20% humidity. Lol.
One of these days it'll turn to jello and I'll mix it with vodka and toast to the celluloid gods.
Until then, I love to hold it up to the sun and stare at its emerald glory.

Didn't do so hot on this one. Oh well. It actually doesn't have a frown, it's just bad hone wear. Ha! Live and learn. The scales must've been replaced, but awhile ago.Name: image.jpg
