Thread: Ok I bought another one today! What width is this blade?

    Nice etching on that one. I see you are in PA. I don't know the geography of that state that well but 25-30 years ago New Hope, PA was filled with antique shops and across the line in Englishtown, NJ had a flea market that was well worth going to back then for all kinds of razors, knives ....... might be worth your while to do a day trip down there on a Saturday if you have the time and the inclination ....... assuming it is still going on....... seems like just yesterday but I guess it was a long time ago.

    I have one just like it. It was originally just under 5/8- like 9/16

    A good machinist can see within a few thousands,but from an ebay pic, you cannot tell anything.

    Yep New Hope is not far (30 min drive) The only problem with it now is it has become a tourist mecca and prices are high.

    Yep. I am with the 4/8 to 9/16 crowd. Not big to begin with. Lotsa wear, but even. It'l shave!
