Thread: What's the most horrible thing you've seen someone do to an expensive/rare razor?

I was just talking to a guy who put his new Dovo Bismark away wet into the case and it looks terrible now.

Must be going blind,cannot see it.

Go to Ebay there's a cornucopia of crap people thought was a good idea at the time

Use it as a weapon in a gang fight.

I am working on a pre 1932 Case that I am fairly certain someone applied rust converter to. It may not be expensive or rare but I will be damned if it is not a piece of American history. Also it may not turn out pretty but I refuse to give up on the little guy.

I was at flea market and a knife dealer (upon my request) produced a plastic bucket/container of old badly rusted razors, most with scales disintegrating. He said that he's accidentally left it out in the rain a bunch of times. I bought them all and returned all but one of them back to life (e.g Griffon 05, Goodbehere, heiffor military, bokers).

My Uncle use to whitttle with one of his older ones.
