    Hi CudaRunner,
It appears to be a Boker Finest India Steel. See if you can read Boker or see a faint tree on the white tang. Here's a pic of one (not mine though).

There is a diamond etch on the blade. Top of the diamond says Finest India Steel. Bottom says Extra Hollow Ground. I believe the tang is bakelite. I have seen a few of these and it seems common for the Boker markings to wear off of the tang from rubbing on the inside of the scales. Excellent razors.

I don't think the scales are original (not positive though) . Mine has a white tang and black scales like the one in the picture. Maybe Manah can confirm the scales.

The concern is that the tang is secure to the blade. Mine wiggles a little so it has been set aside for repair.

    Nice find. Congratulations

Thanks for the info! I find it very encouraging!! I do hope others can help confirm! It never hurts to have more than one match!!

I looked real hard and I can't see any markings left on the bakelite and I do hope it's bakelite because if my cuz has his heart set on keeping the naked lady scales those can be replicated! Maybe even down to the pink!!

I also took a real good look at the pins under my 30X loupe and I concur that the scales may have been replaces as there are factory pins at the toe but a hand made pin at the pivot!! Thanks for pointing that out! I hadn't thought that far ahead or is it before?

I reckon it says "King of Whiskers" on the box.

Washington Cutlery Co/W R Case & Sons/Lehrkind & Daevel Co had that brand.

On some, with the tang not covered, is the agents mark on one side and Bokers mark on the other.

    Regards,
    Neil

I have only seen Bokers with that Etch on the blade. I am 98.99743% positive that it is a Boker Finest India.

Neil using what you've supplied I will confirm that I'm 99.9% certain that your 100% right about the King of Whiskers and Lehrkind and Daevel Co!!! What you provided kind of added the right pieces of a jigsaw puzzle and or filled in the blanks that I couldn't see!!

So it's believed that this IS a Boker and that Lehrking and Daevel Co. was a distriutor or such?!?!?!?!

I'll say this it honed up real nice and gave a fantastic shave!

    Thank for the Help!! :

    Hi Gang!

Well here it is after cleaning it up a bit! It honed up beautifully! What a Nice Shaver!! If all old Boker razors shave like this my RAD may be reemerging!!

The pink is actually much darker than it shows! It's closer to the toe than it shows at the pivot/right above the blue background!

Also something that I didn't see but my youngest daughter pointed out is that the Naked Lady is standing on a man's back! His head is pointed to the left!

I’ve sent it home with a coating of Renaissance Wax on the blade and the scales, I tried to coat the inside of the scales but I don’t know how successful I was!

All that’s left now is to keep arguing with my cousin as he insists on paying me for my efforts and I won’t hear of it!!
