    Straights were just a mass produced consumer product with not even a serial number so determining even a year of production is pretty impossible most of the time. You might have to settle for a time period of a decade or two that they were produced.

    Sorry can't help you there, I don't have a lot of historical knowledge of that subject. Just know from past experience how hard it is to find that type of answer.

    That is obviously the time window, being the dates of operation of the two related companies that owned the brand, Bresduck (1939-47), which became part of Pearlduck til 1952. The earlier, original razors were made at the Brummel Werk factory in Solingen and distributed in the US by Bresnick and others. When taken over by Pearlduck the "Brummel-werk" id was left off, which will tell you the age within a slightly smaller time frame.
