I say clean her up a bit (primarily the scales) and run with her.
Remember the ugly duckling grew up to be a swan,
if it shaves good it is a keeper in my book.It is just Whisker Whacking

Thanked: 485My Jernbolaget is extremely average looking, I possibly went overboard on the patination. The old leather scales have seen better times too, but I can't bring myself to exchange them for new ones...
Stranger, if you passing meet me and desire to speak to me, why should you not speak to me? And why should I not speak to you?

Aboarder4life that's too funny! I thought that blade looked familiar - so I went out to my shop and there's her twin ugly sister awaiting my attention on a restore! I bought her about 5 years ago and haven't gotten around to her yet. Must be a Colorado thing... Mine is a Worthington - is yours the same?

Thanked: 1Haha not quite twins as mine is a Wilbert cutlery, but certainly in the same ugly family. Yours seems to have fewer pits and will be quite nice when restored I have a feeling. I guess we don't need pretty razors in Colorado because we are surrounded by beauty.
