    Agreed! I spent all day driving and am probably not the sharpest tack in the box at the moment, so I definitely could've approached that better.

    Clear pictures will help, but I'm pretty sure you'll find something similar to this:





    Every one of those black flecks on the blade is a pit. You can see what it did on the edge, and the dark patterning directly corresponds to the clear yellow parts of the scales. It's especially telling that Irishguy's razor no longer centers right. That's a likely sign of scale warping, which you can also see in the pictures above.

    I am of the same opinion that we need a better pic, but it is clear Void monster has had a bad experience with this same scale in the past. It seems different from other Cel rot I have seen pics of. Always good to err on the side of caution. At least keep this one separate until determination can be made.
    Damn shame too, those are fine looking blades.

    Irishguy, can you help me find the Dubl Duck blade I lost a few weeks back?
    I had it in my tool box and was preparing to go to a meet and greet, and decided I didn't want it banging around in the box, so I put it somewhere safe..... guess what....
