Technically, the Wapienica razors are Soviet made as well, since at that time it was made in Soviet owned factories.

I have several STIZ Razors and made the Experience that they are really fine shavers,
the steel ist good and hard and theyre holding the sharpness (once they were sharpened well) for a relative long time.
Shaving with these Razors is fun, the sound is scratchy (with my Utro and Osobaja) but the Result is excellent,
theyre agile (just because of theyre size of 11/16" - 6/8") and theyre well made, not in that perfect style were used
from most Solingen Razors, but very far away from seeming cheap.

I beg your pardon Bruno. Wapienica's are polish made razors. What do you mean by "it was made in Soviet owned factories"?

I guess Bruno meant that in the Era of eastern european communism most economical structures had been controlled (more or less) by soviet economical & political interests, so that a polish Wapi could have an russian-soviet Background.

Gentlemen, you're right ...but a bit wrong.
Era of communism was the same in Eastern Europe. But countries, people, mentality, manufacturers traditions were very different. For example, the product, which was made in DDR(East Germany) or in Yugoslavia, was very different from the same in USSR.
