10Pups, having multiples of a single object is a material manifestation of a deep set desire to clone ones self numerous times so that you could always have scintillating conversation available at any time of the day or night. At least that's what I tell myself and myself and.........

It didn't take long for me to get addicted to straights. Afterwards I got addicted to honing and restoring razors. I love making scales and I love honing a razor. Best part of honing a razor is shaving with it for the first time. Even if its not shave ready the process of getting there is quite enjoyable. I don't call it a addiction, but a hobby. Sounds better that way.

Yes, we know, we've heard it all before, "you're in control", "you can give it up anytime you want", "it's your choice, you're not harming anyone", "one more couldn't hurt", there's a river in Egypt named after us, it called Denial, sorry, I mean, The Nile!!

I have to say that I am in the same boat. Some say the first step is admitting there is a problem. I am of the school of thought that says I must first admire my problem. I have only been shaving with a straight since July. I bought myself a Theirs Issard for my birthday. Now I am tracking my packages that will add to my collection. Some of these I am buying with the understanding that I am just practicing honing them. Some I am buying because I want to just collect them. I have just moved just outside of Indiana, PA. I knew Jimmy Stewart was from here, but then I discovered that razors were made here by King's Razor MFG. CO. Naturally I would like to add a few of these. And yes my wife does not admire my problem like I do, but then I am baffled by a collection of shoes. Oh well. Let us march on together, my brethren!
