10Pups, having multiples of a single object is a material manifestation of a deep set desire to clone ones self numerous times so that you could always have scintillating conversation available at any time of the day or night. At least that's what I tell myself and myself and.........
"The sharpening stones from time to time provide officers with gasoline."

It didn't take long for me to get addicted to straights. Afterwards I got addicted to honing and restoring razors. I love making scales and I love honing a razor. Best part of honing a razor is shaving with it for the first time. Even if its not shave ready the process of getting there is quite enjoyable. I don't call it a addiction, but a hobby. Sounds better that way.

Thanked: 0I have to say that I am in the same boat. Some say the first step is admitting there is a problem. I am of the school of thought that says I must first admire my problem. I have only been shaving with a straight since July. I bought myself a Theirs Issard for my birthday. Now I am tracking my packages that will add to my collection. Some of these I am buying with the understanding that I am just practicing honing them. Some I am buying because I want to just collect them. I have just moved just outside of Indiana, PA. I knew Jimmy Stewart was from here, but then I discovered that razors were made here by King's Razor MFG. CO. Naturally I would like to add a few of these. And yes my wife does not admire my problem like I do, but then I am baffled by a collection of shoes. Oh well. Let us march on together, my brethren!
