Thanked: 38Wacker? no a snake
On last October 20th I ordered and paid for the new Wacker Jungmeister 7/8 on a German on-line shop. After some (several) issues including a wrong model delivery, slow (missing) email answers, useless phone call (German language only), I happily got the parcel from the post office on December 5th.
And this is what I found in the parcel: the latest model of Wacker snake:
The width is 21.5 mm at largest point and the spine is warped like a snake. It has an unforeseen evident smiling profile.
Of course it was far from shave ready.
I don't want to keep this razor, but my issue is:
do I claim my money back and close with Wacker or
do I insist to get a good Jungmeister that I waited for so long? Is there any chance to get it right?

If I were in your situation, I would try to return it for a refund. Search for another vendor & reach out to them prior to closing a deal & tell them what your past experience was & ask if they can do better. If there are no communication problems with the second vendor & you feel comfortable with them, then order.
or;
Consider placing an add in our classified section for someone who might be will to part with a nice Wacker for an acceptable price.

I think you mis-understood me in part 2 of my post,,,place an add "asking" if someone has a Wacker for "you".
I would not keep nor would I put that razor you have on anyone, regardless of their skill level,,,,the second option I gave you was to help you find a nice Wacker.
I'm sorry if my post was confusing,,,it's 5am here..

Thanked: 316450 euros fee for insurance - that's crazily unfair! I would have bombarded the seller with emails day and night, called them, faxed them, anything before considering writing off that amount for nothing.
This has certainly put me off buying from Wacker or online sellers of Wacker razors if they do not accept PayPal.
Regards,
Neil
