Christmas razor?
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!! Well, it's the night before Christmas and I'm sure many of us are wondering if that special straight will be nestled neatly under the Christmas tree. I'll Edit in a picture tomorrow when I get the chance.
The wife got me a lovely Dovo Bismarck, With the black ebony scales from the invisible edge in the UK. I'm going to test it tomorrow. The razor looks stunning.
I also got a nice King Icebear 1K/6K razor hone. And a good friend is making me a new strop, He put a note in a card for me It'll be made as soon as his new stock arrives in the new year.Trimmy72 likes this.

I bought myself a Dovo Palisander 6/8 from the Superior Shave. It is in transit but it will be a late christmas present for myself.
no shave gear from my family this year . I think I will need a new strop next year, tho. I'll start dropping hints in July next year.

Here's what my Wife got for me - The box I think is an old shoe shine box, not sure...
The worked spine is a AGI Granati and the other is Phileise (Phil. Eisemann Lancaster, Pa. where I'm from so I thought that was cool)
A little bit of elbow grease and some honing and I'll put these two back in service Merry Christmas!

My wife got me a Dovo Palisander from the Superior Shave, first shave with it tomorrow, can't wait love the look of that razor.
