It's slightly heavier, and being full hollow the 7/8 will have a little more flex at the edge. I find I prefer the 6/8 over the 7/8 on most full hollow ground razors. I like the feel and maneuverability better, but there are a lot that will prefer just the opposite. As with most of the things with straights, it's " personal preference".
Here's the weights for the Aust 5/8 and 6/8 round point, and the 7/8 Spanish point.
5/8 RP - 41 gr - 1.5 oz.
6/8 RP - 57 gr - 2.0 oz.
7/8 SP - 75 gr - 2.6 oz.
I didn't measure length, but you can see by comparison.
