Does anyone own or tried one of the new Boker Elite's? How do you find it? Any pics of different scale variations?
Boy, you are picking at an open wound! I was fortunate enough to see a prototype of the new Elite last February and immediately ordered one. The picture does not do it justice; it is a beautiful thing indeed! Production was to begin in May. Around the end of May I was advised that was delayed till the end of June. The beginning of production was then pushed back to December.. and I am still waiting. It's like dealing with Microsoft, it'll be available Real Soon Now.

Grr.. anyway, I'm sure it will be worth the wait. BTW, I am told that the figured dark horn scales with nickel silver liners will be the only option although that could change Someday.

Well that would explain then, why I couldn't find any info or reviews on it.
I hope you get your one soon.
If I can find one with some contrasting light marks in the dark horn then I think I'd have to put my name on it. As U2u said above, she sure is singing to me. Now to join the waiting queue.

Nice looking razor for sure. I have 3 vintage Boker King Cutters from various periods in my collection and they are excellent shavers and easy to hone. No experience with their new stuff but i can't see them being bad since they've been making them for over 100 years now...
