Thanks guys. I am pretty happy with the win, obviously. I feel like it was a lot of money, but I won't be buying another razor like this anytime soon. I am glad to be hearing such great reviews on this razor. I knew Brokers were good, but I wasn't sure exactly how good this one would be. Any body have any idea how old these things are. I did a little research on Boker, but couldn't find much on this particular razor.

One more vote for stropping (linen + leather) and trying to shave first . You might be pleasantly surprised. If it doesn't shave well - send it to Lynn and when you get it back - it will

I have a Boker Red Injun #101 that came in a small lot of 4 razors from Ebay. Although mine wasn't new It was the first razor I was able to hone to shave ready myself. And my first repin job! It really is a nice shaver.

I'll 3rd the linen-leather and possibly more linen before I'd send it off. You may be supprised. Anyway, You have to try it out once

Good buy, I fall back to my 101 a lot due to the great shave I get of it.

Man, now I can not wait to get this razor. I am really pumped about it. I will definitely take it to the strop. I have some razors coming from Christ(C utz) to practice my honing on. So if the strop doesn't do the trick, and I feel comforatble after honing practice, then I may even take it to the hone, but if I can't get it sharp after a small pyramid, then I will send it off to Lynn. Less is more, and I would rather not take a chance of taking to much off the spine. Very excited.

While some people say that, at times, I may believe I am 'Christ', or better than others, I really am not Thanks though!

Did those 'practice razors' come in yet??

Haha, oops. You should be a saint tho for sending me these razors. Yes, they arrived today. I am particularly excited about the Montgomery Ward & Co. If I can get it to clean and sharpen well, then I will make it my first rescaling project. Thanks again Christ. Or should I say Saint Chris? Haha

    Matt,
This will also help your feelings.

I've had the impression that the price on Bokers is definitely up.
