Hi Matt,

For what it's worth I think we all fall into that trap when we start out of getting caught up in the moment on ebay and before you know it wham-mo, you've over bid on something. And that also goes with all the other shaving paraphernalia that we all must have NOW, AND NOT JUST ONE TYPE OR SIZE OR COLOUR

Getting back to your Red Injun, I also bought one of these from the same seller and I chose to send mine to Lynn first for honing so as like what you said I could use that as a benchmark against anything else I hone myself.

The razor itself is "beautiful" if thats the right word, and I thought seeing as it's NOS it would look better if Lynn honed it rather than me doing it and ballsing it up. By the way Lynn bought one of these razors also. So for the extra $20 for honing, it was worth it for me.

Regards

John
