Agree with kwlfca - I have a Revisor and it's a superior blade.

As Phil from the Classic Edge told me last summer, there is a world wide shortage / back order of production razors, he told me they're at least 10 months behind, and when they get blades in, it's basically whatever they get sent, and those sell within hours or days.

Revisor is a great idea, and so is buying vintage blades, and the Classifieds here have some great blades, I've got two from the Classifieds, funny enough, the one Revisor 8/8 I own and a Double Duck Satin Wedge.

    Cheers!

Muted tip square is best option over rounded in my opinion, a sharp square toe will get even the best of us at times, or customers and myself in my case lol

Revisor also has a large selection of new old stock vintage blades, many are very reasonably priced as well.

What are some pros and cons to having a spanish tip or a round tip?

Round tips are easier to shave without getting nicked. All other tips will have you paying more attention to where the tip is at at all times. That's the main difference.
