    Default Triumph Razor

Wondering if anyone has any info on this razor, not able to find out much info on it.
The tang simply says "triumph", and the reverse side tang has a circle mark with the letters AWNY. Here are some pics:

    State v. Durham, 323 N.W. 2d 243, 245 (Iowa 1982) (holding that a straight razor is per se a "dangerous weapon").

    Hi Joel,

The AWNY in a circle is a trademark of Alexis Witte (AW) Cutlery Company of New York (NY). Seem to have been around from CA. 1880 - 1930.

I wasn't aware of them using "triumph" on their blades, although you'll find some examples of their more common trademarks like "hustler" right here on the forums. Those blades seem to be German made - with any luck the triumph will be too!
