Including those to be sharpened and restore I lost count probably 30-35-40 (now I'm lost in the big world of straight razors )
While razors are operating about 15

I'm always 1 short of enough unless I find groups of more than 1 in which case I am short that many

The nice thing about having a few razors is that I find I can be much more picky now in what I want. The downside is that the razors I want now or find and interest me are usually more expensive. As us frozen frenchmen say: c'est la vie, malheuresement.

Im new to straight shaving, been doing so for less than a month now, but I'm up to 6 (still waiting for some to be delivered). 2 Cheapies to practice on (stropping, honing etc), 2 nice ones by robert williams and 2 nice vintage (one shave ready and one needing restoring & honing). Im scared to think what I would be posting in this thread in 12 months let alone 12 years! Apart from eBay, this is the most expensive website I've been on Plus Im watching a couple on eBay at the moment, telling myself I shouldn't... Damn all you guys with your passion, enthusiasm and encouragement (and help)... its obviously contagious... Plus I got a Edwin Jagger DE89 to try out, only used it once but was a nice shave (bought it for travel when flying with carry-on luggage and no checked luggage)

Currently have 11. Just sold one. Buying a beauty from Dennisbarbershop, just bought a wosty off the bay on Saturday. Trying to keep and have 7 nice razors and maybe stop for a year. Then revisit purchasing. I am addicted though is there any RA (razors anonymous) meetings in the Chicagoland area coming up. Lol
I am very appreciative of all the knowledge and sharing each and everyone has provided me with. Look forward to future endeavors with many of you.

I look at it the same way, at first I was eager to get a small rotation going and the make/rarity/uniqueness of them didn't matter much, now I only buy ones that have that certain... Je ne sais quoi
