    Are you talking about a kamisori? A western style or a Japanese frameback?

    From what i understand the feathers with the replaceable blades pretty much shave the same way as other replaceable blade razors. The traditional style kamisori are asymmetrically ground like this Name: 20140308_215754.jpg Views: 297 Size: 14.7 KB
    I just picked this one of for the same reason, Curious about them.
