Here in Galiza, in the northern spain the geman razors are the most comun but the brits ons were used by rich people, and the scales usally are better than the german ones, you are true, there are a silver panel behind teh shell,

That is a museum quality piece. Excellent pinned tortoise work, very unusual to see tortoise panelled. I would give a lot for a razor like that.

When I see a razor like this I forget all the 'let's see your shave den' and 'tape or no tape' discussions and I am so glad that this site exists....This must be considered treasure. Congratulations on your discovery.

Yaa, Sharptonn, the only problem is that people habe this quality razors are normaly rich people, or with a rich family, and most of the best ones are more espensive than 50 euros, well....
