I agree. I wasn't here for the actual exchange, thank goodness, but I feel like it should be buried as well, and I am sorry that I asked in the first place. It's just not worth it. Nothing good can come of it. Moving on!

So, the SRP Razors were made especially for SRP by TI through classicshaving.com, right? What I want to know is are the numbers limited? I see that they are still available at Classicshaving.com, but are they still being produced by TI? Do I need to plan on getting one of these before they run out?

I am sorry to disagree. People need to express their feelings, thats why we have public forums. Look we are all big boys here - we shave right- .?Personnally I am sorry to see anyone leave the group, however no one held a gun to anyones head to either stay or to go. I like Bill but it is his choice if he didn't want to stay and while I admire his skill I also saw he could get pissed off pretty easily. I can say that there where times I agreed with him and sometimes I disagreed but I always found him entertaining and informative.
That being said let the posting begin...

Okay, back to the subject at hand and in answer to Matt's question......yes, Thiers Issard made these for Classic Shaving and together and with mention on the group the final design was formalized. There is a set number of these and will be no more. Not all were sold so that is why Classic still offers them. I think there was a special price fro group members via a pre-order setup and numbers were sent out consecutively with Lynn getting #1. Several guys got multiple razors with number in order. Some of these had figured scales instead of plain and they were randomly sent out so some owners got a nice surprise.

And I'd like to add that the SRP TI honed by Joe Chandler was one of the best razors that I have had / used. (I foolishly sold it, now I need to replace... - but with crapp popping up all the time, I always postpone)

    Cheers

I wanted one too. However money never seemed to be available whenever I thought about getting one.

I may make this my first TI then. It will be a while before I can get one, but I do want one now that I have become pretty active here.

    Matt,

If you do pick it up and it needs to be honed, it's on me.

I saw that (the SRP ones) razor advertised on Classic Shaving before I became a member here.

It will most definately become my next major aquisition. Especially now that I know some of the background on it's creation.
