Thanked: 6Thanks for the open dialogue and understanding.
I remain a full blooded capitalist willing and able to use the free market as I see fit. Censorship doesn't suit my style and is not what I expect in a free society.
Please close this thread also, before I reply to a post you make, Gugii.
I must say, before I leave, that I never understood or believed in the xenophobic attitude or protectionist angle that I had heard about the board's moderators. That belief if changing.
You can be quite sure that this post will most likely be locked and then deleted. Such a shame that free speech is under threat.
Stay sharp and mistrust those in power.

Lol didn't wanna be the first to touch this, but I'll take a beer. Just read the drama inducing post what's the issue? Couldn't advertising be more clearly stated?

As much as you want to claim a freedom of speech, first and foremost you must abide by the terms and conditions that you agreed to when you opened your account.
Play the victim card as much as you like, but that is not going to change the fact that you violated the terms of the site and instead of considering a change in your behavior you come with an attitude of an entitlement and some strange accusations.
Obviously this community is doing pretty well without your participation, which can't be said about your attempts to profit from this hobby.

"The owners of Straight Razor Place Forum reserve the right to remove, edit, move or close any content item for any reason."
Seems pretty straight forward to me. We may not all like or agree with the rules but we aren't the ones that carry the burden of maintaining or paying for this place. To me that gives them the right to run it however they wish and if it is mismanaged they would have to pay the consequences by losing their members. That will not happen, I'm sure because I am not going anywhere over anything similar to this topic and I think that many others may be of a like mind.
I, for one, am just very grateful that such a vast wealth of knowledge has been put at my fingerprints free of charge and without any input of labor on my part. Many thanks to all the SRP family and more importantly to the SRP staff for the thankless job that they have to perform.Gerry

I should clarify the issue.
The OP violated the very clear rules about marketing and solicitations, and was notified about this in a private message with a reminder about the rules and asking him to not do that in the future. He chose to respond publicly by starting this thread.
Now, we do not air dirty laundry, but when somebody has such a desire to show their skidmarks there is a point that I'd rather leave them to their own devices than having SRP be falsely accused of doing nefarious things.

Gugi does that mean we can count you in on the Friday beer train? Any post that mentions skid marks in casual conversation deserves a like also.

And I'm enjoying the evening with the company of a bottle of Ardbeg Uigeadail. We are apparently a well rounded bunch...
