It is a 5/8 W&B with a barbers notch. Has a chip near the center of the blade but that is one reason i picked it up. I wanted to practice getting a chip out. also seems to have a slight frown.

Sadly there does not appear to be a Durham Duplex club in the Razor Club section. If there were, I would imagine their meets to be like a Monty Python thing I saw years ago about a group that dressed up as rats. A small fervent group.......you are lucky there is a Sheffield blade screwed on to your DurDu scales.

I thought they were Urham Uplex's?? That's what most sellers say!

I believe they kept manufacturing razors, and I think it was under the banner of Durham Duplex that W&B made safety razor blades, but that might've been while Adolph Kastor owned the brand.

A truly sad downward spiral, but history is......history. Luckily we have things like Pringles that counterbalance these kind of losses.

What kind of hone are you using on Pringles? Everything I've tried leaves a badly chipped up edge.
