Thanked: 0Yes, they are pretty good. Do a forum search and you'll get more info. They are supposed to be on par with Dovo. They may even be made by Dovo. I can't recall.

Thanked: 79I've heard good about them, albeit a long time ago when we were all still on the yahoo groups...so my info may be a bit out of date...
Still, I think it was found that these were made by Giesen&Forstoff (sp) who also make the Timor razors.
Anyone else heard differently since? If G&F isn't making them, Dovo would be my second bet.

Yes they are made by Dovo but are good razors on the par with Dovo's standard line of razors. Now if you could find an original hen and Rooster when they were the original company then you would really have something. I've been looking for one of those for years and have never seen one on EBOY. They are like hens teeth(pun intended)

Thanked: 5there was recently a hen and rooster that went on eBay for about $40ish I think. Looked like it was in superb condition (this is actually the reason I asked about them in the first place). I can't say if it was an authentic hen and rooster. It looked A LOT like a DOVO so I'm inclined to say it wasn't

The ones you see on Eboy are the new ones made by Dovo. If you find an original grab it at any price.

Do you think one in decent shape with a picked bone handle is worth $60? - John

I have one and like it very much. It's a good shaver and i do see the Dovo in it.
