Thank you for your input. Im not disagreeing with you but I'm not so sure that it can be dismissed so easily. I agree that scales can and are switched out and bolsters are interchangeable and both scales and bolsters can be from the same source but then again it may be a clue that leads somewhere or it could also very well be a dead end.
With that in mind I did a simple search for images of straight razor bolsters and scan through literally hundreds of photos and didn't find a single match. Then I did a simple search for images of Winchester straight razors and within the first 20 pictures or so I found three identical matches. It seems as this particular set of bolsters are not very common. Is this conclusive evidence that this is a Winchester razor? Hahaha. Not a chance! Why wouldn't it be stamped Winchester? BUT and a big but (pun intended. Lol) it might be a lead in the right direction too. Does anyone have a razor or picture of a razor with bolsters the same as these? That maybe helpful in that it may be another lead or does anyone know something about this razor so I can stop the hunt? What a curse be a dull razor; what a prideful comfort a sharp one

Here are a couple with those bolsters from my accumulation I know there are more around. TRU STEEL and Droesher SRD. ~1930's I would guess.

Thanks Richard I guess I was hoping against hopes to have a lead somewhere. Maybe I will just have to let it go. You were right about a great shaver. I took my time and honed it up real good and it is a very sharp and smooth shaver. It gives my favorite sheffield a run for its money. I may keep it for a while.

henry sears & son. ill have to dig around tomorrow, im positive I have others, same bolsters but different scales. many other with same scales, no bolsters. none of my magnetos had scales or bolsters like that. never seen a Winchester not marked (but if it wasn't marked I wouldn't know it was a Winchester, haha)

Thanks again. I was thinking it wasn't a Winchester too or it would be marked. I was thinking maybe a re-scale into Winchester scales but I definitely cannot say that now. Plus it looks NOS. Guess I was grasping at straws but there is SO LITTLE to go on and I really enjoy the background information on a razor.

Didn't winchester have something to do with the Keen Cutter line of razors? bought them out and rebranded them or something? I am honestly not sure but it might be another avenue to explore.
The older I get the more I realize how little I actually know.
