Killer blade. You need to be shaving with that beauty. Welcome to SRP by the way ........ someone will be along to tell you when the maker lived and died, what he ate for lunch ......

Indeed a beauty, a certain Washington fellow own a Gratian, http://straightrazorpalace.com/razor...an-1900-a.html

The trademark Gratian belongs to Jonathan Hall,Sheffield, England, 1795- 1835 plus or minus a few.

That's about all the info ive found. Tried contacting the museum. Also saw a list once online, that I think was of blade makers in Sheffield during certain time periods.

Wasn't that from the 1787 Gales and Martin?

From this thread,http://straightrazorpalace.com/razor...r-help-id.html with the same razor! But the info is from Goins i believed!

The dating for Hall is Goins and the trademark picture from Gales and Martin, and Why do you ask?
