Really custom made razors
I am dreaming of making a particular razor for the last years and I would like to know if there is any smith that is actually taking custom orders to realize a really custom made straight razor.
If there is anyone please let me know.

PS: Please, don't answer me to contact Mastro Livi or other smiths that sell their razors in SRD. I am not searching for something simply special, but someone who is actually willing to take a custom order.

Robert Williams made a razor of my design from a drawing I emailed to him. I'm reasonably sure he would be happy to accomadate you. Here are pix. Fancy one is RW's the rest are mine after I honed it. Damascus with pre ban elephant ;
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

In addition to those above, Max Sprecher, Tim Zowada, Joe Chandler (Does he actually make any more razors?) and Charlie Lewis must be mentioned.
All make razors for sale on various web-shops, but can also take truly custom orders.
That is my experience anyway
There are others as well, like the Excellent makers in Europe.
Buddel, in Germany, is perhaps my fav maker of all of them.Bjoernar

Bob Allman is very good. Alex Jaques but not sure if he makes to order.
I am starting to make razors, have only made 5 but not sure if I would be good enough for something special, I am an unknown.
Love Alex workmanship, he's worth asking but not sure if he's a member here, he should be.Slur likes this.
