Do you recall...
No not the most famous reindeer of them all but do those of you with many razors recall the circumstances surrounding the acquisition of every one of your razors?
I'll go first, no I don't.

Yes, all 13 of them. But I'm not sure this number qualifies as "many razors"...

Thanked: 3795Probably when you cannot estimate how many you have to the nearest couple of hundred.
In answer to the original question, absolutely, no I do not. I suppose I could have kept a database tracking each of them but I'm already trying to find time to have a life and such a thing really was/is not high on my priority list. Heck, I don't have time to make a priority list.

Being that I've kept my RAD under control with the exception of those razors given to me and one new from the factory Revisor. Yes I know how or when I acquired each of my razors/straight and DE!
The funny thing is that I've given almost every razor that I've bought away to help those wanting to get started in this Older But Better Way of Shaving!
I would Never give a razor that was given to me away Never!
I did donate one straight to a local museum with the 90+ year olds former owners' permission! It was his grandfather's and he acquired it in the 1940's. It came in the coffin box it was purchased in and the box included the name of a local company here where I live. I'd called the owner and asked permission to donate it and he was thrilled to have it on display. While he of course doesn't actively 'farm' the farming still includes the original homestead of his grandfather and the man has the Original Deed signed by President Theodore Roosevelt!
Our house is as Neil left it- an Aladdins cave of 'stuff'.

Not I said the moose ...... no way could I remember where/when I got all the ones I have ....... and no way I can even remember all the ones that have moved on. Remember some of 'em, the ones I wish I still had.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Thanked: 24More or less. But I bought almost all of my razors off the SRP classifieds, ebay, or etsy. The only ones I bought from a shop were my dovo shavette and a dovo best quality.
