Spendur, my friend, Martin de Candre would make a great travel companion. I only wish. I have it in the wooden bowl, however, and that does not make for a great travel soap. I suppose I could cut off a chunk and put it in a small travel bowl, but that is a sacrilege. The stick works fine, although D.R. Harris does not exactly sparkle in my top soap pantheon.

Parker, the wet pack, which as I noted is a recreation of the British officer wet packs from WWI, is from Truefitt & Hill. I not only love the design, but the practicality of it. Of course, I like the history of it, too.

The reason I sold the brush was because of the small size. I dare say, I have spent a fortune on a huge variety of these travel brushes. Nothing.

Interesting, I bought one of those a while ago, it works pretty well and is geeky plus in the Major-esque travel tube. Dried fast anyway. I still end up (usually, don't get out enough) with another brush in one of Muhle's screw tubes, which will handle a decent sized brush most of the time, depending of course on the going definition of "decent".

Good show. It's a wise decision, because you can't go wrong with Martin de Candre in the shave den or on the road.
