You can also use KAI blades. KAI blades will work in Feather holders and vice versa.

To the original poster there are a variety of blades available with a variety of features and levels of aggressiveness from both Feather and KAI. IMHO, KAI and Feather are the creme de la creme of shavettes! I'd highly recommend exploring that avenue first.

Also FWIW, when not using a traditional straight, I use a KAI Captain with their Mild Pink blades. Very smooth, IME!

Great, sounds like you've got a winning combo! Regarding the number of shaves, of course, it is case by case. Things like your technique, the toughness of your beard, and your post shave blade care will affect the longevity of a given blade. That being said, 10-15 shaves per blade seems to be pretty typical. I would shave with your current blade till you start to notice any pulling.

Well i shaves only weekdays so 22 shaves per month. We can say 2 blade is eniugh in this case i think. Do yiu recommend proguard ir light blades? Or should i stick with pro abd improve technique?

Yep, sounds like a good estimate! As for blade recommendations, I've only used KAI Captain Mild Pink blades so I don't have experience with either of those two options.
