Thanked: 1I didn't use any oil before, the scales were varnished with just 2 linseed oil layers, never happened this sort of pitting to my other rescaled razors. I store my razors away from the bathroom and they are well dried after the shaving. I'll let you know if the pitting hit again, in the meantime the blade is covered by a thin layer of mineral oil, I don't like this way because I hate to clean the blade every time before the shaving, and I don't want that the oil will be going on the strop. I love to be minimal in my lifestyle, and if a razor or other things, require too much care about the maintenance, I will be annoyed in a very short time.

Thanked: 458If it rusts more easily than other razors, in my opinion, it suggests that it will probably be a better quality steel for shaving. Steel that rusts less easily will have more alloying elements, and the only thing you really want for a good edge at a razor's hardness (unless you want stainless) is iron and carbon and very little of anything else.
Just keep using the razor, and it'll be fine. Make sure it doesn't get wet and is completely dried each time you put it up, and it'll probably develop a tiny layer of soap residue or something that keeps it from rusting (that's been the case with my regular users, no rust despite the fact that some of them are very old and very plain steel that rusts very easily if given the opportunity).
