    Hi,world

I have a razor that gave my father in law. It is in excellent condition and I carefully file it.

To my great regret I don't know anything about it. On the Internet unfortunately I have not found any information about it, or even a photograph.

I propose to the participants of the Forum, several pictures of this blade. I hope that more experienced blade owners and also connoisseurs of history razor will help my feeble mind what kind of blade.

I guess that my razor is a workhorse for shaving. Of course I would like to know the year of manufacture I assume that approximately 40-50 years, but probably this factory as Peaso Solingen is no longer exists.

Thank you in advance for your attention!

Not 100% sure, but I think they were made by Paul Adrian sometime between 1920 and 1940.
Wish I knew where I read that info. Hopefully someone else will pin it down better.

If I recall correctly, Paul Adrian was a maker with that released several razors with names on them like peaso, but they didn't have his name on them. I know he made the Mona Lisa during the 1920s.

I meant that PEASO is the two-letter German alphabet (Paul-PE, and Adrian-A) the sounds of German language + with
SO -Solingen. Thus could be name brand. I guess.

As I learned in Solingen was many manufactures razors. The names of Adrian and production was two. Perhaps it's two brothers. Some of the production put stamp and years of manufacture can be determined. My shaver does not have any signs.

    Yes Neil, thank you.

My interest to the blade very peculiar. I have been a modification of the knives. Many have seen examples of how people make excellent knives. With high quality. This is a skill many people.
Never heard that anyone a mere mortal man made a shaving blade at home with her hands. Selected grade of metal made the preparation changed its form and so on. And then shaved!
For me, my old blade for admiration I don't shave them consciously. I want to keep it and to transfer by inheritance. For me it is a source of inspiration and a great example of a handmade quality.

So I can't remember where I put my car keys, but I can remember a small maker and year of a razor? I think I need more scotch in my system...

My razor there are several places with the rust. Fortunately it has not touched the tip of the blade. For research, I used the microscope.
I suggest images of the problem areas.

Paul Adrian still had marks on their products. Here's a snapshot of the number 203 is probably the model name. On my instance any characters not.
However, the shaver on images from Japan excellent prepared apparently restored. Razor handle probably not native. There is no logo Peaso Solingen.
    See eBay pictures bottom please.
