I was asking a sincere question, just wanting to learn something and "This" is what I get? How "DARE" you people disrupt my thread in such a rude manner!!! It's 'my' thread and you didn't even invite 'me'? Just for that, I'm gonna sight in my long range weapon for thousand yard shots. "YOU'LL GET YOURS, YOU'LL SEE... ALL OF YOU!"

I'll have to tweak my gun sights tomorrow. The Mrs. insists that I fix supper and do the laundry, first. "Dagnabbit!"

Good that will give me time to leave a false trail. Let's see...who should I lead him to for that 1000 yard shot?

    On another tangent.
I was just thinking, has there ever been a thread that says any vintage razor or maker was of poor quality.

Being so new to this, and not having time to search all threads, I just do one of two things. I try to stick with British and German blades, just to be safe. I used to ask folks for their opinions... but you can see where 'that' got me!

Don't take it so hard Judd,,, the guys here are just playing around a little.
I'll take the responsibility for starting the spiral with my first post, #2,,,
It was the way you asked the question that provoked my silly response.
Had you asked if W.H. Oates was a quality brand of straight razor or does anyone else own one & can they comment on it. The replys , including mine, would have been different.

I apologize if I did not take your question seriously,,,,,,,

Don't apologise. This thread was actually quite helpful. It made me laugh after the auction bids exceeded my budget and I had to let it go. I also learned something about W.H. OATES...

    I like the hat idea.

Lime green doesn't work for me.

Can't tell it by the picture but Mom is laughing her butt off.

It's John's fault ( whether it actually is or not, it's always John's fault). Simpler that way, does away with confusion. Just blame it on John.

    He can't help himself.
He even takes the credit for killing a TV show.
