Your experience please:

I was in an antique shop today and saw a Lickson razor, looked very old and I'm assuming it had been re-scaled due to them not fitting the blade properly.

Anyway has anyone heard of Lickson before? The blade had a Lickson type banner etched into it. The Shank had Lickson Garanti (?? can't quite remember but it was like that), on the reverse side it had 152, no origin of manufacture so I assume it's pre-1891.

They are asking $65 but wanted to find out more before I haggle and shell out for it.


If anyone has any information I'd love to hear it, a quick google search had no results
