Thanked: 79Lynn,
Just curious, any reason to avoid the Timors? I'm actually sitting the fence on getting one myself, have there been problems with them? Last I remembered they were supposedly decent, but haven't kept up with them until I saw one in a shop a month or so ago...

Thanked: 4942They tend to be finicky to hone.

I liked the Timor that I had (sold it as it was little too narrow in blade width for me). I got it to hone up well, despite my honing challenges.

Thanked: 0I have a timor blue-steel and it is my favorite shaver. In fact it is the one that xChris sold to me If I need a comfortable bbs shave it is my go-razor. YMMV, but I love mine....

Thanked: 0My first razor was one of the white Timors. It has never given me a proper shave, and it's been an absolute nightmare to (attempt to) hone - I have since honed a few razors without any trouble but this one just doesn't want to cooperate. However, maybe I just got a bad one!
