I don't think there has been a request to value the razor, the question was, is a filly better than a Dovo, i don't see an issue with giving a comparison.

I swear that when I win the Lottery I will finally have the funds to buy some of these highly prized Filly's and W&B's (I'll be coming after you Phrank) and be able to coherently contribute to threads like this one. And yeah, name aside, it's how the razor shaves, not it's pedigree. My best is a cheapo eBay(gasp) find that is totally nameless. An orphan in the wilds so to speak and tops just about all my named razors in quality of shave and retaining it's edge.

Here' a comparable Dovo and these thing are also out of production and not so inexpensive either if you can find one. I love this razor but are Fillie #14 or Bardas Duras better? Not by much but still have to give the edge to the Filarmonicas

Thanked: 1077Quick answer. I love my fillies. Easy to hone. If you can afford it, get it. I'm sure you will love it but if you don't you could sell it quite easily.
Looks great to me but would clean up fine, just be carefull of the gold wash.
