    It's a satin one. Can't remember seeing a polished one but with my memory that's not saying much.

    I have the brushed scales. It's awkward at first but you do get used to it. But when you switch to a normal scaled razor it feels good to be back in balance. I haven't used mine in almost 3 years.

    gssixgun said in one post that he had quite a few of the stainless scales laying around because guys didn't like the uneven balance it caused and had him rescale them.

    Me, having used them, I'd pass on it. They look better than they feel, at least for me. Then there's the old YMMV
