    With the huge geometry change on that razor as a result, I'd look elsewhere IMO.

    If your going to do it or if one of the pros on the site will do it... I'd wait until it's sharpened to see what the final blade measures .
    It is not shave ready. I have no idea how much metal would need to be removed to make it so.

    The facts of the matter are this. I saw this razor on an auction site. The pic posted in this thread looked a little funny to me, but the description said the blade is without fault. I thought what I was seeing in the pic was an optical illusion or something. I noticed the buyer offered a 14 day return if I paid return shipping so I bought it. On arrival the blade looks more tapered than the photo. I contacted the seller and he said it is a smiling blade and it was made that way by the manufacturer.
