I'm wondering if the blade is a grind reject. Look at the spine on the side that's usually stamped with the makers mark. Then compare it to the back side. The spines are different at the shoulders and there is no stabilizer on the shoulder, Something I would expect to see with an extra hollow.

It still looks to be a fantastic razor. I hope it shaves as well as it looks.
