    Stock photo of the razor, my scales are a bit lighter but not much.

    8/8

    My other Revisor 6/8 shaved well out of the box also, when I looked at it under 40x magnification the edge was not perfect either.

    I strop my Revisor 8/8 as normal and never had a problem.
