Thanked: 12Robeson Shuredge 15-L-40 fancy
Just purchased a Robeson shuredge "fits your face" 15-L-40 0fancy. beautiful razor. haven't found much online. What I have found states that they are of high quality but not as collectible as some, hence the low price. I am new to straight razor shaving and this will be the second razor in my collection. haven't received it yet. What can you gents tell me about this vintage?

Glen speaks the truth. I have been on the hunt for a good 6/8 Robeson for a LONG while. Seems they must have been great because every one I see is worn out!

Thanked: 12just purchased on ebay. won't get it till later in the week. on a scale of 1-10 based on pictures I would give it an 8. Very fancy with very little noticeable wear. Probably not used very much. late 20's to early 30's. That's all I know.

Not sure if I did this correctly. Here it is. only thing wrong with it is the notch on the top.

Nice! I wonder why the notch cut in it? ID? Easy for the barber to open?

Thanked: 12Not sure but it looks like a filed notch. Price reduced for custom spine work. Picked this babby up for $40.
