Default Brand New Hart Custom Blade abnormalities...would you return?

Hello gentlemen! I purchased this Hart Custom Artisanal last week and pulled it out for a first shave this morning. When I looked closer in the light I noticed the abnormalities in the pics below. Is this normal for a polished razor (this is my first with a polished finish)? Is this a defect for which I should return the razor?

Looks pretty rough to me. Is the second picture the shaving edge?

Looks like it got polished before it was ground after they made it. I'd send it back. Looks like it would cut you when you shave too!

Please let us know how this gets resolved!
When you are dead, you don't know that you are dead. It's difficult only for the others.
It's the same when you are stupid.

I think they will want that one back, and I'm sure they will make it right. Best of luck.

I have no doubt they will make it right. From past observation of a couple of other member's issues I would also suggest a phone call to give them a heads up on the email if you don't receive a reply to your email in a timely manner.

Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.
