I have 40 Straights at the moment, about 20 DE's and 6 SE's
Way more than I need as do most people, I am cutting down to get to what I hope will 40 in total,

Okay, I know this is an old thread but I'm going to resurrect it. I was looking for a place to put this and this was the closest thing I could find even though it's old. I didn't read every post but damn! Some of you people have a problem.
Seriously though, I just passed the century mark. I now officially have 100 or more depending on how you count it. Even if you don't count the RSO's and the ones that are in pieces it's still just over 100. After reading just the first page of posts I'm rethinking committing myself to rehab because I don't have it anywhere near as bad as some of you people have...at least that's what I'll keep telling myself. I know I'm a sick man but there are just so many! I feel like the crazy cat lady. "There's just so many that need homes. What was I supposed to do, leave them on the street?"Iron by iron is sharpened, And a man sharpens the face of his friend. PR 27:17

Looks like Ive never posted in this thread so... 130 to 150 straights. The 130 mark is shave ready. The rest are in the to-do drawer or needs honed cup. Only a few SE and DE. 1 shavette and 2 kamisori. I think that it.
It's just Sharpening, right?

Last count...a year or so, ago. Just over 160.!
Roughly now....200 something that are shave ready, and still have a drawer full to repair.

I can just imagine the joy you all would feel if you passed some of those on to your needy friends!

Darn, you made me count . I'm not that bad yet, only 30 straights and 2 DE. A lot of those were trying different grinds and styles to figure out what I liked best.

I enjoy not having to think about which one to use. I just open the log and fine one with the less use, look at the picture and size then open that drawer.
It's just Sharpening, right?
