Info on John Shaw "American Razor"
Hey guys! Just picked up this guy from CL. Anyone know about John Shaw prior to when his sons came on board? Looks like this may be prior to 1879, as I belive that is when he passed on.
Here are some phone pictures:

Update: couldn't save the etch on the blade, and I also wanted to leave some of the age, here is what I did to it yesterday:
Honed it it up last night and shaved with it today for Christmas Eve, WONDERFUL shave!Last edited by JoelLewicki; 12-24-2014 at 11:27 PM.
State v. Durham, 323 N.W. 2d 243, 245 (Iowa 1982) (holding that a straight razor is per se a "dangerous weapon").
